VISION

We aim to equip and empower the next generation to be disciples of Jesus whenever and wherever.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the absolute reference point for every aspect of our everyday lives and ministry.

Rooted in God’s Word, these are the pathways we practice together at Crosspoint:

Worship

We are called to praise and worship God alone. (Exodus 20:2-3; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; 2 Kings 17:35-39; 1 Chronicles 16:28-30; Nehemiah 8:2-10; Mark 12:29-30; Romans 15:5-13; Jude 24-25; Revelations 5:6-14; Revelations 19:5-8)

Holiness

We are called to lead holy and righteous lives that exemplify the nature and character of God. (Leviticus 19:1-2; Psalm 51:7-11; Jeremiah 18:1-11; Ezekiel 20:10-12; Zechariah 13:9; Luke 1:68 75; Ephesians 4:21-32; Titus 2:11-14; 1 Peter 2:9,21-25; 1 John 3:1-3)

Witness

We are called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not know Him. (Psalm 78:1-7; Isaiah 40:3-11; Micah 4:1-2; Habakkuk 2:14; Luke 24:44-48; Acts 3:12-26; Acts 10:39-43; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23; 2 Corinthians 2:12-17; 1 Peter 3:15-18)

Prayer

We are called to engage in prayer for the people and causes on God’s heart. (Genesis 18:20-33; Exodus 32:1-16; Judges 3:9,15; 1 Kings 8:22-61; Ezekiel 22:30-31; Ezekiel 33:1-11; Matthew 6:5-15; Matthew 9:36-38; Ephesians 3:14 21; 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5)

Fellowship

We are called to commit to the local church fellowship, sharing life together and multiplying God’s presence wherever we go. (2 Chronicles 29:20-30; Psalm 22:25-28; Psalm 122:1-4; Joel 2:15 17; Matthew 18:19-20; Acts 2:44-47; Acts 4:32-35; 1 Corinthians 14:26-40; Ephesians 2:11-18; Hebrews 10:23-25)

Service

We are called to contribute toward God’s Kingdom purposes in every sphere of life. (Deuteronomy 15:7-11; Deuteronomy 24:17-22; Psalm 112:4-9; Proverbs 11:10-11; Zechariah 7:8-10; Matthew 5:14-16; 2 Thessalonians 3:13; Titus 3:4-8; Hebrews 13:15-16; James 2:14-26)

Salvation and Grace

We believe salvation is a gift from God, obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

Holy Spirit

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1)

God’s People

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’. We believe that God has equipped us to fulfil His purpose for our lives — fulfilling the Great Commission and bringing His kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19,20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29; Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:15)

Baptism

We believe that Baptism is our public declaration that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Baptism does not save us, but shows the world that we have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ. (Colossians 2:12; Acts 2:41; Ephesians 2:8-9; Matthew 28:19-20)

Statement of Belief

Bible

We believe the Bible (Old and New Testaments) as the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the absolute reference point for every aspect of our everyday lives and ministry. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

One God

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all that is seen and unseen, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; Genesis 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Man

We are the supreme object of God's creation. Although humans have tremendous potential for good, they are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates man from God. (Genesis 1:27;Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2)

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as fully God and fully human, and whose sinless life shows us the way of true discipleship, died on the cross for us and was raised from the dead on the third day to save us from our sins. He ascended to heaven and will return again to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. (Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?

GOD'S STORY

God has begun something new in Norway.

We are living in a generation that is searching for something real — longing for authenticity and the true meaning of life. They are not afraid to challenge and reshape society, culture, and tradition. At the same time, we see a generation hungry for the Word of God.

In 2022, we witnessed something powerful — nearly 10,000 young people gathered at The Send Norway to worship, pray, and commit themselves to action for God. This was made possible through the collaboration of 29 different Christian organisations and denominations.

MOVE FORWARD

What is our role in such a time as this?

We strongly felt that God was calling us to be part of His marvellous story — the new thing He was doing in Norway. Out of that calling, we began gathering people and starting a new church — to equip and empower the next generation leaders.

On 3 June 2023, at Håp in Majorstua, we invited friends to catch the vision and pray with us. A few months later, on 26 August 2023, we held our kickoff gathering at Puls in Grünerløkka, starting with Bible Studies and Passion Groups. By autumn 2024, we began holding weekly Sunday Gatherings.

Then, in July 2025, God opened an unexpected door — the opportunity to purchase a property at Trondheimsveien 5D in Grünerløkka.

We are so grateful for all that God is doing in us and through us — to Him be all the glory!
