SERVE

God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.  1 Peter 4:10

We believe in teamwork — using each person’s gifts to serve one another in the church. As the saying goes, teamwork makes the dream work.

From the very beginning, God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him” (Genesis 2:18), and created Eve. Moses, guided by his father-in-law Jethro, built a team structure to prevent burnout (Exodus 18:13–27). Nehemiah and the people of Israel worked side by side to rebuild Jerusalem’s wall in the face of opposition. Jesus chose twelve disciples to work together. The mission we now carry — “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) — is a calling we accomplish together.

We are created for fellowship. Church is where we gather in Jesus’ name, grow healthy together, and spur one another on. Together, we want to be good neighbours and faithful disciples. And together, we want to know God and make Him known.
